Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 September 2026

About this policy

This policy explains how DEAHREM ASSOCIATES handles personal information collected through deahrem.com.au and communications about inquiries. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business operating under the DEAHREM ASSOCIATES name.

For questions about privacy, contact Privacy Contact, DEAHREM ASSOCIATES, at deahrem@bigpond.com or +1 773 634 3218. You may also write to 3500-3518 Gordon Dr, Terrace, BC V8G 5P5, Canada.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, area of interest and message. We also keep the correspondence needed to handle your inquiry.

Our website and service providers may record technical information needed to operate and protect the site, including IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and error or security events.

Please do not provide passwords, financial account details, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive information through the initial contact form. Do not share another person’s information unless you are authorized to do so.

Why we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, assess whether we can help with a project, prepare requested proposals, administer agreed services and maintain appropriate business records. We also use limited technical information to prevent abuse, investigate errors and protect our website and communications.

We do not add contact-form users to a marketing list. We do not sell personal information or use inquiry details for third-party advertising.

Consent and choices

Submitting an inquiry asks us to use the information supplied to handle that inquiry. If we need information for a materially different purpose, we will explain that purpose and seek consent where required.

You can ask us to stop optional follow-up or withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal may limit our ability to respond or provide a requested service. We may still retain or use records where permitted or required by law.

Service providers and disclosure

We share information with service providers only as needed for functions such as website hosting, email delivery, security and business communications. Providers are expected to protect the information and use it for the services they provide to us, subject to their applicable legal obligations.

We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or where reasonably necessary to establish or protect legal rights and address fraud or security threats.

Processing outside Canada

Depending on the providers and infrastructure used, information may be processed or stored outside your province or country, including outside Canada. Information handled in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws and lawful access requests. Contact our Privacy Contact for information about the providers and processing locations relevant to your inquiry.

Retention

Form abuse-prevention records use a keyed hash of the source IP address and expire after 24 hours and are removed when the next inquiry is processed. We do not store inquiry message bodies in the website application after they are submitted to our mail service. Messages retained in our business mailbox follow the retention approach below.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations. Our retention approach considers whether an inquiry remains active, whether it becomes a client engagement, and whether records are needed to resolve a dispute or prevent abuse.

When identifiable information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable. Copies in managed backups may remain until those backups are rotated or removed.

Safeguards

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and the services involved, including limiting access to people who need it. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask about our handling of your personal information, request access or correction, or ask about deletion and withdrawal options available under applicable law. We may need reasonable information to confirm your identity before responding. Please do not send identity documents unless we request an appropriate verification method.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and explain relevant limitations or reasons if we cannot fulfill a request. You may also contact the privacy regulator with jurisdiction over your concern.

Cookies and other websites

Our Cookie Notice describes the limited website storage and technical functions used on this site. Links to other websites take you to services governed by their own privacy practices.

Children

This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can review and address it.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. The date above identifies the latest version. Where a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
